Train Song

I assume that in Feist and Ben Gibbard’s cover of “Train Song” they are imagining something a little more exciting than the daily commute from Castleknock to Drumcondra, but their cover of Vashti Bunyan’s song from the charity album “Dark was the Night” is a great soundtrack for any train journey.

It’s a really nice duet between Feist, who also sings “Service Bell” with Grizzly Bear on the album, and Ben Gibbard, better known as the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie.

It’s probably shit to download it illegally cos it’s for charity and all, but sure, throw caution to the wind and do it. Or do the right thing and pay for it. Up to you really. Enjoy…
